Indian Fusion Dance: IFF Level 2 - June 7/8

This 2 day workshop offers full 1.5 hour dance practices with Indian Fusion Formation (IFF) Level 2 content. A perfect class to review if you have taken Level 2 IFF or if you are interested in developing this nuanced dance style developed by Colleena that utilizes elements of classical Indian dance, Fusion ‘Bellydance’ and contemporary dance. Level 2 challenges dancers to work on more complex ‘hidden’ structures of dance making, develop powerful momentum and movement dynamics and cultivate coordination within this specific aesthetic. The practice will include: embodiment practices, warm up / conditioning, technique drills (both classical Indian and contemporary), new unique compositions and a review of Level 2 choreographies. This class will be more fast paced than Level 1.
